Longhurst's Laundry & Cleaning Ltd are a family run cleaning business & we are looking for lovely & caring new team members to clean for our clients around Ellesmere Port, Chester & the surrounding areas.

Expectations​

You will be expected to work independently, have great attention to detail, be really reliable and deliver great customer service to our clients.

In return we'll pay you well, look after you, provide everything you need & keep you nice and busy!

We have plenty of work for the right person, minimum of 4 hours a week; this is the perfect role to choose your working week & create a great work/life balance.
 

TYPICAL WORKING WEEK::
3-5 days per week, the more days you're available, the more hours we can offer.

​

• Regular Cleans - Tuesday - Friday completed between 9am-3pm

• OVERTIME - Deep Cleans Monday ONLY

• TRAINING PERIOD (around 4-6 weeks) = 8-16 hours only

• REGULAR HOURS = 12-20 hours on average

• OVERTIME to cover deep cleans & holidays/sickness =20-30 hours on occasions on a temporary basis.

Due to the nature of the business, this is a part time role and hours may fluctuate but we will always try to give you as many hours as we can on a regular basis.

​

You MUST have your own vehicle that you can use for work and must GENUINELY love cleaning and preferably have at least a year's experience working as a cleaner.

​

Other than that, all we ask is that you have a great attitude and the attention to detail our clients need.

REQUIREMENTS

 

• ​​Experience is great, although not essential as you will be fully trained 

• Consistent & high standards of cleaning

• Punctual & the ability to follow instructions

• Ability to work by yourself or as part of a team

• Full driving licence & access to own car due to location & equipment 

• Polite & friendly, non judgment person with great customer service skills

• Clear DBS check & great references

• Work available Monday - Friday between 9am - 3pm (overtime available)

• Available to work during school holidays

• Excellent communication skills

• Want to have a better/work life balance

• Flexibility to work as little as many hours as you'd like (4-30 hours)

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚 𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐭'𝐬?

Most of our staff work anything between 4-30 hours, depending on their availability.

​

Hours may build up gradually, usually about 8-16 hours and increase once reliability has been proven and training has been completed. We can then advertise additional cleaning slots to fill your days up.

​

Our team travel within the serviced areas; South Wirral, Chester, Ellesmere Port, Deeside. Carrying out cleaning for a range of clients; busy offices, family homes, working professionals, elderly/disabled etc.

​​

Once training is completed alongside an experienced team member, you will be working solo to complete regular, domestic cleans, and working as part of a team on deep cleans.

​

You will be expected to carry out cleaning duties to a very high standard (to include toilets!) You must be presentable and friendly and be a great team player to complete all cleans and to ensure our clients are satisfied.

​

We would love to have you on the team, we have a very small team of domestic & commercial cleans who are deeply valued and not just a number. We offer regular hours, optional overtime, holidays, flexibility within the schedule for time off to view your children's Christmas nativities for example, or to attend that important event. We pay for ALL time spent working; training, cleaning & travel time.

COVID-19 considerations:

• Staff are required to wear PPE (Apron/tabard, optional mask, gloves etc)

• Stay 2 metre distance

• Infection control training
